DISTINGUISHING TRAITS...
Rebel is a happy, loving boy who's looking for an experienced husky family (or a dog savvy family committed to training/excercise/supervision when outside). Rebel would do best with a dog companion &/or doggie daycare as part of his routine (if parent/s work). He is super smart, loves to be active and with his family. Rebel knows several commands and is very receptive to training.
Rebel must be kept as an indoor dog, part of the family. Regular grooming/deshedding with this breed is a must, especially in warmer months (plus your floors will thank you for it!). He was good with cats, human infants, teenagers, men, women. He has had some exposure to birds, rabbits, and other mini pets, but he gets too excited with birds. He can learn, but best to keep separate at this time.
Why we're seeking a husky experienced family for Rebel: If left unattended in the yard, he will leave and look for his own source of entertainment. Rebel needs a dependable and responsible family who will continue to work with him on training. Rebel is by no means a "trouble dog" - he simply needs a family who has the time and experience to work with him as he's still learning.
A completed adoption application and home visit are required for approval to adopt a CARE dog. We do adopt out of state if all vetting is complete. The most accurate and complete information about available dogs can be found on our official website at www.caretoadopt.org.
