Adoption Fee: $75.00

Trout is a Chiweenie who found himself at the local shelter. He can be nippy until he has a trust bond built with his person. He can guard his food/treats, but has been improving with training.

Trout does best with adults & dogs; he isn't ideal for kids. We haven't been able to test him with cats. Trout is sweet, loving, smart, playful and happy once he knows he's safe. In the right home, he will be a fantastic companion!

A completed adoption application and home visit are required for approval to adopt a CARE dog. Out of state adoptions okay. All dogs receive a distemper/parvovirus vaccine(s), kennel cough vaccine, rabies vaccine, dewormer, monthly heartworm prevention, flea & tick prevention and treatment if needed, microchip, and are spayed/neutered through CARE.
