Rats are wonderful, intelligent pets and are much less likely to bite than hamsters or gerbils. Therefore, despite common negative perceptions of rats they are fabulous, lovable pets for children.
Silvio is a playful, lovable guy. He has obviously spent the previously unknown portion of his life with a variety of animals and people. He is very sweet and gentle and gets along with everyone. Silvio must be adopted into a home with an existing male or spayed female rat. He gets lonely by himself and is much happier with a companion. This boy would be a perfect pet for anyone of any age.
