Thunder is active, happy, lively...as spry as any dog half his age and is not yet ready for the rocking chair.  He LOVES HUMAN COMPANIONSHIP. He loves belly rubs, treats and just hangin with his peeps. He loves to ride... be it car, truck, golf cart. He's great with kids, other dogs and shows no interest in the cats at his foster home. 

Due to financial difficulties of his owner, he was without heartworm preventive for a couple of years and is heartworm positive as a result. Heartworms are completely curable, and CARE has Thunder on treatment under the guidance of our Veterinarians.  CARE will continue to provide treatment until he is negative at no extra cost to his adopter.

All dogs receive a rabies vaccine, distemper/parvovirus vaccine(s), dewormer, monthly heartworm prevention, microchip, and are spayed/neutered through CARE. If old enough, dogs are tested for Heartworms and treated by CARE if positive. A completed adoption application and home visit are required to adopt a dog. We do adopt out of state.
