Help us raise $3,000 for 4 special needs kitties!

CARE needs your support to provide urgent medical care to several special needs rescues. We love and embrace "wonky" pets. ;-) All proceeds go directly to their veterinary bills. Let's make these wonky kitties whole again and provide them a GREAT LIFE! Thank you!

CARE has recently taken in several special needs furbabies. Sweet Dee, Little John Doe, Chester and Toby are 4 such rescues. Sweet Dee was found covered in mud, with minor wounds, diarrhea, and severe infection of the eyes, ears and respiratory tract. She has had chronic issues since we rescued her, but due to our vet and staff's dedication, she is starting to feel better finally. Little John Doe has hydrocephalus, which is somewhat rare for kittens. It took a lot of tests to confirm this diagnosis and rule out other potential health risks. He is responding well to proper medicaitons and his new companion, Tuck. Chester has calcium oxalate stones, which required immediate surgery and a prescription diet. He feels tremendously better! Toby was hit by a car and suffered a complicated leg and jaw fracture. His surgeries went well. We'll see what the near future holds for him, but he's feeling pretty good so far.

All of these kitties were found by a Good Samaritan who contacted CARE for help to meet their needs. Follow their cases for updates on our website and Facebook page. Each of these wonderful companions deserves a healthy and long life. We can give that to them, but we need your help. Please donate today and buy a T-shirt. Let's get them healthy and adopted! *** Breeds are our best guess based on experience and research. ***

All cats receive a microchip, distemper vaccine, rabies vaccine, dewormer, FELV/FIV combo test, and are spayed/neutered through CARE.
