Romeo has had a tough life. He was rescued by a woman who found him chained to a tree, starving, and covered in fire ants. He has since been neutered, had all his shots, his coat has filled in beautifully, and he has gained plenty of weight.

Romeo is a sweet, loving baby. He likes to sprawl out on the couch or in the bed. He will get in your lap and smother you with kisses if you let him. He is crate trained, will walk pretty well on a leash, and is learning basic obedience and manners. Romeo is a true sweetheart and loves nothing more than to be with his people. Although he will go out and play, Romeo is very low-energy for his breed. He prefers to spend the day in bed or on the couch.

Romeo is a loving, submissive dog, but because of his lack of confidence, he really needs to be an only dog. He gets very jealous if he thinks another dog is going to receive the love or attention he is trying to keep all to himself. Although we will consider placement in a multi-dog home, Romeo would love to be an only dog.

Romeo will only be adopted to an inside home with a fenced yard. His adoption fee is $175.
