Scout is a gorgeous 18 month old AKC German Shorthaired Pointer who lives next door to my parents. He is a wonderful boy but he is young and energetic and too much for the elderly couple who owns him. He doesn't have a fenced yard to run and play in and only gets brief walks on the leash every day. Scout is a big boy about 75 pounds and the elderly man just can't handle walking him very far. They even tried a halti lead (you can see on Scout's face where is wore the hair off) but he is just too strong. Scout is a very sweet dog and is friendly with other dogs and wonderful with the grandchildren (even the small ones under 5 years old). The couple would like to find a new home for him as they feel it isn't fair to him any longer to be cooped up with them. They are willing to keep him until a home is found. He is fully vetted with the exception of being neutered.

Scout will be neutered and microchipped before adoption.
