Learn more about the Doberman Pinscher.
Tina is a blue Doberman who was found in McBee, SC with an injured back leg and poor coat. She was under weight and looked pretty shabby. In fact, a family who was pleading for rescues to take her in thought she was a senior dog! She's actually about 11-12 months.
Since Tina has arrived at one of CARE's foster homes, she has had excellent care and all vet needs met. She is fully vaccinated, had an extensive vet exam, been dewormed, heartworm tested negative, put on monthly heartworm prevention, and spayed. Tina looks great now, but we're waiting on new photos. She is a beautiful girl with great health and loads of personality. Her back leg (as seen in photo) is an old injury, possibly hit by car, and is unable to be repaired. She does not have any problems with this leg, but will likely have arthritis later in life. She should always be on a high quality diet and joint supplements due to her blue coat and old leg injury. A little extra care will go a long way with this girl! Tina is great with animals and kids. She currently lives with dogs, cats, birds, goats, mini donkeys and chickens. She is house trained and crate trained. If interested, please call her foster mom, Lara, at 803.917.8047 or send us an email. All dogs receive a distemper/parvo vaccine(s), kennel cough vaccine, rabies vaccine, dewormer, monthly heartworm prevention, and are spayed/neutered through CARE. Out-of-state adoptions: Adopters from states other than SC MUST come claim the pet themselves and transport the animal home with them. No other arrangements will be made. *****CARE does not have a physical shelter. We foster these animals in our private homes. We are usually unable to return calls during the week due to our full schedules with work, family and the animals we care for. Please email us an Adoption Form if you are interested in this pet and we'll be happy to get the ball rolling. Pets are shown by appointment after completed adoption forms are received and approved.More about TinaGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids Sponsors: Adoption saves lives!
