Believe it or not, Ripley likes to lick people! That's right - when he gets comfortable with someone holding him, he will lick their arm or their leg or... once he stuck his tongue up his foster mom's nose! He's so cute when he peeks his little head out of his favorite cave to look around. 

Believe it or not, Ripley actually has Scoliosis. He got his name for the ripples along his spine. He was surrendered to a local pet store, and they contacted us due to his unusual shape. Our exotics Veterinarian examined and treated him, and he has been given a clean bill of health. The Scoliosis could have been caused by a virus, incubation at the wrong temperature when he was a hatchling, excessive or improper handling, or maybe he was just born that way. Ripley was an owner surrender so we don't know his exact coloring, but the closest we have found on the internet is Platinum het Amel, like the one from this website. Or, he could be Lavendar. He weighed 103 grams at his last checkup.
