Paul is just a big happy boy! He was abandoned by his former owners when they moved and then taken to a shelter. He seems to be a very good-natured dog but he was never really taught manners--he has no idea that he's a 100-plus-pound dog! (He's very large and broad for a dobie--might have even had a rottie grandmother somewhere in there.) He's learning the ways of civilized folk now in his foster home, but will need an experienced big-dog person, and probably no small animals (since he doesn't realize how big he is, he's a bit rough with them). He is great with children, but again is not aware of his size, so no very little ones. He's very playful and energetic, would love to have a big dog to play with, and maybe even a human to jog with. Standard adoption procedures are required: adoption form, adoption fee, vet references, and home check. Please understand that these are all done for the safety of the animals.
