Franz is a handsome and super loving boy. He was found abandoned with a broken tail and leg injury. Despite the likelihood that Franz was mistreated and failed by humans, he does not hesitate to give love, trust and loyalty to any person he encounters in life. His forgiving attitude is an aspiration for some and an inspiration for all!
Franz loves to play with people and dogs. He also loves to give kisses and sometimes prefers to relax with chest and front paws in your lap while leaving his hind legs on the ground. He steals hearts by tilting his head to one side and another, particularly when he hears an intersting noise or familiar word like "potty" or "hungry". Franz enjoys stuffed animals, rawhides and basking in the sunny spot on the grass.
Franz' ideal adopter will take him for daily walks and/or has another dog for him to play with, and a fenced yard. Franz deserves better than he's gotten so far in life. Help us make it up to him, and submit your application to adopt him today.
A completed adoption application and home visit are required for approval to adopt a CARE dog. We do adopt out of state if all vetting is complete. The most accurate and complete information about available dogs can be found on our official website at www.caretoadopt.org.
